Paraeducator Pathways Program Info Session

Northern Pennsylvania Regional College (NPRC) invites paraprofessionals to a Virtual Information Session. This session highlights the Paraeducator Preparation Pathways Program, designed to address the shortage of educators in Pennsylvania. Launched in Spring 2024, the program helps paraprofessionals advance towards a bachelor’s degree and teacher certification.

Key features include:

• Remote classes, asynchronous, and hybrid course options
• Ability to earn up to 15 credits through a professional portfolio
• Completion of an Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education or Associate of Arts in Education Studies in as few as six academic terms

Important: These information sessions are intended for individuals interested in NPRC's Associate Degrees in Early Childhood Education or Education Studies. NPRC does not offer bachelor's degrees nor teacher certification. Students seeking teacher certification will need to transfer an associate degree from NPRC to a four-year institution to complete a bachelor's degree and certification requirements.
